Technical Project Manager

Amadeus, one of the top ten travel technology companies in the world, had, like most enterprises, issues in maintaining brand consistency across all their sites and country sites. The solution provided is a Digital Ecosystem that allows them to control all their content from a single platform, Adobe Experience Manager, without compromising market specific necessities.

My role on the project

One of the key elements of the project was the possibility of providing localised content to their main markets and also show different content and products based on the geographic location defined in your preferences.

I coordinated the translation of the site’s 1500+ pages in nine target languages including Russian, Chinese, and Japanese.

The biggest lesson that I learned during this process is that communication plays a huge role when you are working with a team dislocated across four nations and four time zones.

Using the Agile methodology and bringing everyone on the same page with daily meetings, where everyone tells what his is working on and the status of his tasks, allowed us to be very efficient and productive.

Working with a project of this scale and with a team from 20+ different nationalities has been a great opportunity and though me a lot.
